Who Got The Body?

In law and order every episode started the same way because the case could not be built without evidence and the evidence was found in the body.

• The Lord, our God, desires proof of his presence in the Earth, not just through the miracles and gospel songs.
• He desires that the proof of evidence resides in the body of Christ.
• You are the case maker.
• Anyone is capable of being saved.
• He's the God who redeems.

God promises that in the midst of struggle he promises to show up himself.

• He promised to be Jehovah Jireh, the God that gives himself.

If you feel like you're on your last leg you are not alone.

• Pick your prayer life back up again because you're not praying to be holy. You're praying to remind yourself that God is holy, and he never breaks his promises.

In the text we meet Jesus after the wedding of Cana.

• As he does these miracles the opposition against him grows.
• God is not linear. You can do the right thing at the right time and still get bad results.
• There are many who think that coming to faith in Christ is a ride down an easy street.
• It is rather an invitation to navigate the difficulties of life with a guide.
• In the text Jesus is late to the funeral.
• When Jesus shows up during communal mourning.
• When Jesus gets there, he doesn't ask for permission or anyone's input. His job was to demonstrate that God can handle it too.
• Some of you have placed the wellbeing into the wrong hands.
• You're seeking validation when God has handed you victory.

God measures what's on the inside not what you present on the exterior. What does your life look like?
