Scripture
Numbers 13:30 (NET)

In a recent article they painted a picture of prosperity in the streets. They highlight the job growth, economic momentum, and have spoken optimistically about the future.

  • However, food prices rise, and gas prices remain a burden on household budgets.
  • Healthcare is a difficulty.
  • Financial strain.

Many people are exhausted by what is going on. This is not because God hasn't been good but because sometimes life gets heavy.

  • Sometimes the hardest thing is to believe God when life shows you the opposite.
  • Faith sounds wonderful until you stand in front of something bigger than your experience.
  • The very promise God has made to you, is yours if you want it.

God was sending 12 spies to spy the land.

  • He wanted to know what the people in the land were like or if the land was good or bad.
  • God wanted them to be brave and bring the fruit of the land.
  • Moses goes to tell them to go spy the land.
  • When God is getting ready to bless you with something God tells you to get a look at it first.
  • Before he can bring a thing to pass, you first must see it in the spiritual realm.
  • He'll let you see before the actually give it.
  • When you see it in the spirit it will manifest itself in the natural.
  • Anytime you see the number 40 in the spirit, it means a testing period and once it's over something great is about to happen.
  • Although 12 people saw the same thing 12 did not come back with the same report.
  • 10 focused on the challenge.
  • There is nothing you will get from God without facing a challenge first.
  • A lot of people want the glory not the story, or you want the rain and not the pain, or you want to win, and you don't want an opponent.
  • 2 focused on the prosperity.

1. Don't allow the facts to alter your mind to what God has promised you.

2. Take control over the noise that silences your purpose.

3. Your decision to trust God must not be overshadowed by those who do not have enough faith to do the same.

4. Don't allow the size of your opposition to determine your faith.
