When you need someone
Church is easy when life is going well. This page is for the other times. Everything below reaches a real person at Solid Rock, and none of it requires you to be a member, a regular, or to have been here before.
If it is urgent
A church office is not an emergency service and does not run overnight. If you are in immediate danger, or thinking about harming yourself, please call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or 911 in an emergency. Both are free and answer around the clock. Reach out to the church as well if you want to, but please do not wait on us first.
How to reach us
There is no wrong door
There is no wrong door here. If you are not sure which of these fits, use any one of them and it will reach the right place.
Nothing you send is published anywhere, and nobody is going to turn up at your house unannounced because you asked for prayer.
Prayer
The prayer team carries requests for the people who send them. You can be as specific or as vague as you want to be, and you can ask without saying why.
Hospital and home visits
If you or someone in your household is in hospital, housebound, or recovering at home, the pastoral care team visits. Hospitals do not tell churches when someone is admitted, so the church only knows if somebody says.
Talking to a counselor
Connecting with a counselor is one of the pathways on the church's own Get Connected form. Choose that option and someone will be in touch about what is available.
A death in the family
If you have lost someone, the church would rather know early than late, whether or not you are a member here and whether or not you want a service. Reaching out costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.
Dedicating a baby
Baby dedication is one of the pathways on the Get Connected form. It is a short moment in a Sunday service with your family around you.
Practical help
Food, utilities, rent and the rest are a different kind of need, and there is a separate page for them covering the pantries and programmes serving Osceola County.
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Praying for someone else
Most of what reaches the prayer team is somebody asking on behalf of another person. That is welcome, and it does not require their permission to pray.
