Kids and youth

Where your children will be

The questions parents actually ask before a first visit: who will be with my child, which room, and how do I get them back. Here are the answers.

Two rooms

Where each age goes

Children are split into two groups, and they are in different buildings, which is the thing most worth knowing before you arrive.

  • Nursery

    Ages
    Newborn to 2 years
    Where
    In the main building

The nursery is staffed and supervised for the whole of the service. If you're not sure where to go, the Guest Desk will walk you there.

  • Children's Church

    Ages
    Ages 3 and up
    Where
In the Youth Building, the NIA Center

Worship, Bible teaching, group activities and discussion pitched at their age rather than a shorter version of the adult service.

Safety

Check-in and pickup

Children are checked in through a simple and secure process, so a child is only released to the person who brought them.

There is a Digital Check-In team on Sunday mornings whose entire job is that process, and a first-time family is exactly who they are watching for. Arriving ten or fifteen minutes early makes the whole thing calmer.

Sunday services: 10:00 AM in person & online

In the room with you

What happens in the main service

Worship, a scripture reading, a practical and biblical message, and an opportunity for prayer at the altar.

Children are welcome to stay in with you rather than going to their own room. A child making noise in a church service is a normal Sunday here, not a problem anyone will treat as one.

More for families

Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.

Matthew 19:14
