There's Enough for Everybody

Big idea: Your God has supplied all of your needs, according to his riches and glory.

By chapter 6 in Acts, Jesus has already been crucified, he has resurrected, and ascended back to the right hand of the father. After the ascension hod people must figure out how to fulfill their godly assignment in the absence of their teacher.

Jesus told them exactly what's coming.

• The power you need will not come from a classroom but your prayer closet.
• Some people want sameness not God's salvation.
• The issue a lot of people are unwilling to address is gaslighting you into thinking no you're overly sensitive.
• People have a hard time with difference.
• In church everybody knows the churchism (when to say amen, when to be quiet, when to get up, etc.)
• The problem in Acts 6, they thought that just because they were in a synagogue they have access to what God has provided.
• There are too many Christians who want to teach people what we have come up with.
• In the text we meet church people who have bad attitudes.
• The problem is that it is an attitude that belongs to an empire not the kingdom of God.
• As the people of God we take an attitude that aligns with God and not our preference.
• The problem is that they thought they could eliminate what was bothering them.
• How to go to war in the spirit?
• Get the helmet of salvation.
• Breastplate of righteousness
• God is able to do more than what you can do by yourself.
• When you have this understanding, it shifts your focus from who is different from you.
