Scripture
Acts 10:11-16 (NET)

God works in more than just one way because he was working in Genesis all the way through Malachi and then he continued working in Matthew all the way through Revelation but you've got to read the text to understand how God was working what changed and how you should apply it to your life.

The New Testament of the Bible - Jesus declares that this his life is the initiation or the start of a new covenant with God. A covenant is a promise, it's deeper than a contract.

Jesus came to the earth when he hung up on the cross when he died all day Friday laid in the grave on Saturday and early on a Sunday morning, He rose with all power in his hand. He was starting something brand new that had not existed before this was now a covenant not between God and Man, but about a covenant between God and God God lives forever He will keep His promise and His promise is, if you would confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart you are saved. You better thank the Lord God that he didn't look at you and leave you where he found you.

The circle of life is the understanding that everything old is new again so yes, we call it the Old Testament because it happened to us in old times, but it's better understood as the Hebrew testament because everything God did then he started doing again he just did it a different way.

There are some of us who understand we may not always feel like praising God; we don't always feel like praying we don't always feel like witnessing but when you think of the goodness of Jesus a praise just erupts.

It was the blood of Jesus that we were saved from sin not the opinion of the pastor not the thought process of the elder board certainly not because of any other church members it doesn't really matter what your opinion is so long as God says that I'm redeemed God will send you places that is outside of your comfort zone because if you spend too much time just around what you're familiar with, what you're comfortable with, what you already know it robs you of the necessity for faith.

God will sometimes kick you out of the comfort place that you've been nice and warm and fuzzy and because He's not interested in your comfort, He's interested in your conversion He's trying to get you from the way that you are into the way that He is.

In first John we find that the love that God has lavished on us He's called us His own children that we might be called the children of God.

We ought to look like God sound like God talk like God, but we can't do that apart from God and sometimes he will pull us out of our comfort zone and into a place that seems totally unfamiliar.

Just because it's burning in your soul to say it does not mean God has released you to say it. Sometimes you need to wait and allow God to have His way because if you would wait you would realize you don't need to say it.

We need to step outside of our box, some of us are so stuck in the four corners of our own echo of opinion you fall apart if somebody presents a different perspective.

God is trying to show us in this present day and time that He doesn't just deliver His word from pulpits now. God is delivering His word in clubs, on radios, at music shows,

The Bible says that the way the vision came to Peter that he saw heaven opened.

John chapter 3 says it this way that God so loved the world, it is not God's will that any man should perish. I believe God is trying to tell us listen confess with your mouth and believe with your heart.

Ephesians chapter 2 says for it is by grace that you have been saved through faith and this is the gift of God not of yourself so that no man can boast, this is grace through faith.

It is faithfulness to Christ the Lord; you're not praying so that you impress your neighbor you're praying because God has a lot of things to tell you and when you pray it is not a one-way communication it is a two-way communication.

Two-way communication opens your mind to just how big God is because when you get the two-way communication, you start realizing how to love the people you used to call enemies you love them because you see them the way God sees them.

God called Peter out of his box If we believe that God is not only omnipotent all powerful, omniscient all-knowing but we also believe God to be omnipresent that means in all places at all times.

  • God is taking you out of your box he's bringing you around some people that can pour into you.
  • God is taking you out of your box because he's trying to show you that your standard of cool was external but now, He's trying to show you what integrity looks like.
  • God wants to show you that Heaven is open, and He wants to do more than you can think or imagine.
  • He will reveal it to you by His spirit, but you must get out of your box...........
