Designed For Faith

Big Idea: Faith is trusting God enough to come out of what buried you and walk into what he designed- without knowing all the details.

We are living in a generation where we are underexposed. It is not what we are going through but what we have learned to live with.

• The problem is not adversity. Struggle is a part of the human experience.
• The problem is that people have become comfortable with the problems.
• Very many people are scared of where God wants them to go. So they are stuck where God is trying to remove you from.
• Often times people face problems. It is not a problem to face a problem. It's normal.
• We've been taught that when we come to Jesus all of our problems will be over.
• We possess the power to face any problem with victory on our side.
• Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
• When you know the power that worketh in you, you don't mourn like the world mourns. You notice you are meant to walk by faith and not by sight.
• This becomes the platform for God to show his MIGHTY power.
• Do not fear what the enemy may bring.

The second problem Jesus faced is that he was in front of a crowd of unbelieving saints.

• He found not one believer.
• Something serious when you bring your broken heart into a room of believers but all you find is sympathy and pity and not a prayer of God into your life.
• A friend will speak the truth and shame the devil.
• You need to be around people who don't need to see it to believe it.
• You need to be around people who don't need to see it to believe it.
• He's surrounded by the saints but none of them know to flip the switch from culture to Christian.
• Treating people right is not just reserved for the VIP section.
• Treat them right because it is right.
• You can't beat God giving.
• Jesus says "Father, I thank you that you always listen to me but I'm saying these things for the sake of the crowd staying around."
• Some breakthrough is not for you to come up but for others to learn about God.
• Sometimes pray for God to get the glory not when you're out but when you're in.

In Hebrews we meet Abraham

• There were many times where Abraham was not walking by faith or obeying.
• While the world would like to cancel you, you need to read Hebrews 11. He doesn't look at you through every shortcoming.
• Every time you fall short you don't have to keep score.
• God uses crooked tools to draw straight lines.
• God can still use you.
• God will work on you in ways where you never saw it coming. But you need to WALK BY FAITH.
• His plans are far greater.
• Stop looking with the eyes of the natural and look with the eyes of the spiritual.
