He is God Even in The Insurmountable!

Insurmountable - (adjective) means too great, difficult, or powerful to be overcome or successfully dealt with.

If it is an insurmountable problem, if it is an insurmountable difficulty if it is something that you can't get out on your own or challenges that can't be physically dealt with.

When I refer to Grace by way of the old covenant I mean the goodness of God kindness of God, the mercy of God. The God that sent His only begotten Son. Jesus that lived a sinless life, however He took on our sins on the cross.

We will not be here if it was not for the grace of God!

God said to Joshua that His servant Moses is dead and to get ready to cross the Jordan There is no greater job that you can have than to be a servant of the Lord, we serve the most high God.

As servants of God, we should do things in the church because we love God Israel had wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.

The Nation was standing on the edge of the Jordan river getting ready to go into what God had promised a long time ago. God keeps His promises.

Joshua had the responsibility of leading God's people; the word called them stiff-necked people.

In this first chapter of Joshua, it starts by speaking of loss before it speaks of any victory.

Notice the progression, Moses is gone = bad news, leadership has changed = bad news, future is uncertain = bad news the mission remained unchanged = bad news. Joshua probably began to wonder if he could do this, could he lead like Moses, will the people follow me, am I enough.

Transition often exposes fear, insecurities, and uncertainty.

The stone that the builder rejected became the chief cornerstone, so don't confuse the loss of a leader with the loss of God's presence.

Joshua faced an insurmountable task to take God's people over to the promise land.

God is still God in the insurmountable God will help us through the insurmountable Joshua went through struggle, God kept telling him to be strong and be brave. In verse 5 God told Joshua, "No one will be able to resist you all the days of your life as I was with Moses, so I will be with you." God is telling us no matter where we are in life He wants to be with us, Joshua was promised the power of God that no one would be able to stand before him.

The God we serve is omnipotent and He has all power in His hand.

God is able to supply all our needs. He promised never to fail us God loves you, don't let the enemy try to let because of what you are going through that God doesn't love you.

We are never without God's Promises, Spirit, or His word When you stand at the edge of uncertainty remember that the God that brought you this far will carry you the rest of the way.
